Bit of a cheat with the goat cheese and apple, but it's Friday and I need to live a little.
Hi, I'm Pete. I used to be really skinny (6'2", 120lbs, 10 years ago), and then I got kinda hefty (210lbs, 2 years ago), and now I'd like to get into good shape. I'd like to use this blog to publish my progress towards my goal weight (180lbs, hopefully by mid-October), and detail what I'm doing to get there. Perhaps it's a bit self-indulgent, but I'm hoping to gain some motivation to stick to my diet and to improve my exercise habits.

Lentil, bulgar, chickpea, and cauliflower salad; with a large cup of white chicken chili.
Still not sure whether I should be eating bulgar or not, but it seemed healthier than the Vietnamese beef with rice noodle salad I was also debating.
Oh and I'm back on the pills (AGG)

Lunch 05/05
After cheating a little bit on breakfast (I had a blueberry Greek yoghurt), I decided I should stay strictly slow-carb on lunch. Also, thought I'd try skipping the soup. Hopefully, that doesn't make the 3pm crash too painful.
